This Saturday 23rd August is our Open Day Come and meet some of our rare native breeds who call Horsepool home:

Old English Goats – one of Britain’s oldest goat breeds, now listed as critically endangered, with only a small number left in the UK.

Kerry Hill Ewes – with their striking black-and-white faces, this Welsh breed is on the at risk watchlist, treasured for their hardiness and character.

Dartmoor Ponies – once common across Dartmoor, they are now classed as endangered, with conservation vital to their survival.

We’re so proud to care for these incredible animals and help raise awareness of their importance.
