Day 10

Today’s advent calendar treat is a never-before-seen moment from Densel’s early days at Horsepool Farm… back when he lived in the goat paddock and became absolutely convinced that the hill in the middle of it was his.

And by “his,” we mean no one else was allowed within a 10-mile radius (according to Densel).

Our farm manager (yes, she was the brave soul) made the mistake of walking too close one day, and Densel immediately activated his inner guard-donkey mode — marching down that hill like a warrior ready to defend his kingdom.

Thus, the legend of Densel of Doom was born.

He may no longer reside in that paddock, and the hill was never actually his to claim…

…but we’re pretty sure he still remembers it, dreams about it, and would reclaim it in a heartbeat if given half a chance.
