Happy 1st Birthday to Aries!

Our handsome Old English Goat, Billy Aries, turns one year old today! This is a special milestone because he is now old enough to be officially registered with the Old English Goat Society, meaning he can go on to help support the numbers of this wonderful and historic breed.

Old English Goats are a rare native British breed, known for being hardy, intelligent and full of character. They were once commonly found on traditional smallholdings across the UK, valued for their milk and their ability to thrive in all sorts of conditions. Today they are considered a conservation breed, so every healthy, well-bred goat plays an important role in helping protect their future.

Aries is already proving to be a sweet but very cheeky lad, full of personality and always keen to see what’s going on around the farm.
