Remembrance Day 2025

Today we pause to remember and honour all those who gave their lives in service — the brave men and women who fought for our freedom.

We also remember the millions of animals who served alongside them: horses, donkeys, dogs, pigeons and more — all showing courage, loyalty, and sacrifice.

The purple poppy symbolises remembrance for these animals, recognising the vital roles they played and the lives they gave during times of war.

At Horsepool Farm, surrounded by the animals who bring us comfort and healing, we reflect with gratitude and respect.
