Remembrance Sunday

Today we take a moment to reflect and remember all who served and sacrificed — the brave men and women, and the countless animals who stood beside them in times of war.

The red poppy, which blooms so beautifully here at Horsepool Farm each year, symbolises remembrance and honour for those who gave their lives, as well as hope and peace for the future. It grew on the battlefields of Flanders after World War I — a sign that life and beauty can return even after great loss.
